History and present

In 1945 was formed  the Berestechko district which specialized in the production of agricultural products. In each collective farm around the city there were vegetable teams specializing in the cultivation of cucumbers for the purpose of processing which was opened salting of Berestechko  where cucumbers were salted in large barrels.

In 1959 this building was transformed into the canned fruit factory of Berestechko.

which became a branch of the fruit cannery of Gorokhiv.Conservation  of products in particular blueberries has begun. To collect them the teams sent teams of workers from the plant to Polissya. Production expanded rapidly.

Made: compotes, salads, sauces, juices and other products.

During the season the plant processed - 200 tons of cabbage, 200 tons of cucumbers, 150 tons of table beets, 100 tons of carrots. The company worked on both local and imported products.

The modern history of the company begins in 1993. Together with his older brother Peter who unfortunately died tragically Oleksandr Zakharchuk bought out a branch of the former Maryanivka fruit cannery in Berestechko. It was revived production processes were adjusted and  reconstructed from the ruins.

The plant produced its first products in 1998. These were canned cucumbers and tomatoes later and apple jam. All this was delivered by an old "Muscovite" car in 10-20 boxes.

If at first canned cucumbers and tomatoes were made, now 37 types of products are made:jams, marmalades,, compotes, tomato paste, condensed milk, salads, juices, canned sorrel, artificial honey, fillers for confectionery factories. The average capacity of the enterprise is 250 tons of finished products. Seven  trucks deliver products. Products are delivered to Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Uzhhorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk and Lviv.

In the new year, the plant became the first in the Gorokhiv district supplier of products to the Baltic countries, in particular, to the Daugavpils confectionery factory (Latvia). The first batch was 20 tons.
